Kurssilla käydään läpi käsintehdyn paperin vaiheet massan valmistuksesta valmiiksi arkiksi. Käytämme tällä kurssilla kuituina pellavaa ja kierrätettyä puuvillaa. Kaikki materiaalit sisältyvät kurssin hintaan, mutta halutessaan voi tuoda mukanaan vanhaa kangasta (luonnonkuitua) tai esimerkiksi kuivia, prässättyjä kasvinosia joita voi laittaa paperin pintaan. Kurssille tarvitset omat kumisaappaat. Kurssin opetuskieli on suomi ja/tai englanti, riippuen osallistujista.

Pe: 18-20.30
La: 10-15
Su: 10-15

Hinta 160/145e (alennushinta opiskelijoille, työttömille, eläkeläisille)
Maksetaan ennen kurssia, maksuohjeet lähetetään ilmoittautuneille vastausviestin yhteydessä.

Kurssille mahtuu 5 henkilöä ja paikat täytetään ilmoittautumisjärjestyksessä. Sitovat ilmoittautumiset 3.12. mennessä sähköpostiin helsinginpaperipaja(at)gmail.com. Saat vastausviestissä maksuohjeet. Kurssipaikka varmistuu, kun kurssimaksu on suoritettu (maksettava viim. 7.12.). Käyttämättä jääneestä kurssipaikasta pidätetään 50% kurssihinnasta.

Introduction to Papermaking

Teacher: Emma Peura

In this course you will learn the whole process of papermaking from preparing the pulp to a finished product. The fibers used in this course are flax and recycled cotton. All materials are included in the price. If you want, you can bring some materials with you, for example an old bedsheet (100% natural fiber) and/or dried, pressed plant parts to attach on the papers. Please bring your own rubber boots. The course will be held in Finnish and/or English, depending on the participants.

Fri: 18-20:30
Sat: 10-15
Sun: 10-15

Price: 160/145 e (discount for students, unemployed and pensioners). Price of the course must be paid befoe the course starts. Directions for payment will be sent to the registered students.

The course fits 5 people and places are filled in order of receiving the registrations to our email. Send us an email to helsinginpaperipaja(at)gmail.com by the end of Dec 3. Your place in the course will be registered once you have carried out the payment (deadline for payment is Dec 7). Please note that the registration is binding. For cancellations, 50% of the course price will be withheld.
