Kurssilla käydään läpi käsintehdyn paperin vaiheet massan valmistuksesta valmiiksi arkiksi. Materiaalit sisältyvät kurssimaksuun. Kurssilla käytetään pellavaa, kierrätyspuuvillaa ja lumppupaperisilppua. Voit ottaa myös mukaan jotain kevyttä ja litteää, jota liittää paperikerrosten väliin. Tähän käy esimerkiksi lanka tai kuivatut ja prässätyt kasvit. Kurssille tarvitset mukaan omat kumisaappaat sekä viimeisenä päivänä kansion tai vastaavan jolla kuljetat valmiit paperisi kotiin. Paperit voi myös pakata löysälle rullalle kuljetuksen ajaksi (tuo tätä varten omat suojapaperit/iso muovipussi).

Sitovat ilmoittautumiset 5.12. mennessä, tämän jälkeen peruutuksesta pidätetään 50 % kurssin hinnasta. Jos peruutus tapahtuu alle 48 h ennen kurssin alkua, peritään täysi kurssimaksu.

In this course you will learn the whole process of papermaking from preparing the pulp to a finished product. All materials are included in the price. In this course we are making paper from flax, recycled cotton and recycled cotton paper. If you want, you can bring something light and thin to attach on the papers, like thread or dried and pressed plants. Please bring your own rubber boots and a folder or something else to pack your papers with on the last day. You can also pack the papers in a loose roll (for this, bring a plastic bag or some packing paper). Teaching language: Finnish, English

Discount for students, unemployed and pensioners. Payment details via email after registration.
Registration is due 5.12. For cancellations after that date, 50 % of the course price will be withheld. If registration is cancelled later than 48 h before the course starts, 100 % of the course price will be withheld.
